Alumnus Awarded for Inspiring Teaching

Congratulations to Dr. Brian D. McInnes (UMD alumni, Doctor of Education, 2010) on receiving the 2016 Horace T. Morse Alumni Association Award for Outstanding Contribution to Undergraduate Education. McInnes is an assistant professor in the Education Department at UMD and has an incredible passion for his students. His accomplishments include developing a licensure pathway for elementary education students interested in teaching Ojibwe language and founding the Enweywang Ojibwe Language Nest.
