Now your car can wear your Bulldog spirit. Proceeds go to our UMD Alumni Scholarship program. Click “License Plate Form” and you will be directed to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s special license plate form (form number PS2010). Fill in and mail to the MN Department of Public Safety – Driver and Vehicle Services Division.
In Section A, check “Collegiate” and enter number 168.129 or University of Minnesota Duluth
In Section F, insert the appropriate plate fee (double= $10 or single= $8.50)
- Contribution must be minimum of $25
- State filing fee is $10
- Registration tax depends on your vehicle make/model/year which you are notified each year.
There is a $25 minimum annual contribution. Plate contributions are collected at the time of initial application, and each time registration is renewed. The renewal notice will reflect the $25, however, you may increase the donation amount if you wish. This donation goes directly to the UMD Alumni Scholarship. License plates are only for passenger class vehicles.
