Class of 1951 to hold 61st Year Reunion

The Class of 1951 holds the honor of being the first class to have enrolled and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth. The class held a 60 year reunion last year and had so much fun they decided to have another this year. Those from the class of 1951 are invited to a 61st Reunion Weekend, September 15 and 16, 2012!

On Saturday, September 15 a Class of 1951 Dinner will be held at Black Woods Grill and Bar in Proctor, MN (195 Highway 2). Dinner is at 5:30 pm. Choose from a special menu and pay on your own. Classmates are asked to bring along pictures from their days at UMD.

The following morning, Sunday, September 16, beginning at 10:00 am there will be a Class of 1951 Brunch held in the Griggs Center in the Kirby Student Center on the UMD campus. Cost to attend the brunch is $20 per person. Special guests include UMD Chancellor Lendley C. Black, and Dr. Paul Deputy. A short program with Don Cook and entertainment from Norma Nummela and Eugene “Pug” Norlander will be featured.
