Creating jobs, producing fuel and food, and improving the environment is the focus of a partnership between the City of Silver Bay, MN and UMD’s Center for Sustainable Community Development (CSCD). Since construction was completed last fall, the new 280 student Ianni Residence Hall has already saved energy and money. Minnesota Power recognized this commitment.
